Peter 18Jul16: This is a page to act as a workbench for my testing on W10 and macOS.

Some DEVEL FIXMADE bugs get "parked" by me as they involve downloading plug-ins from sites I know nothing about - I am not prepared to risk that.

Re-opened

  • P3 1835 - Mixer Board track names do not update immediately on updating track names (works on Mac now - but not fixed on Windows)
  • P5 1799 - Un-muting with a single track unnecessarily activates the Solo button - original bug ok on Mac, BUT closely related issue still occurs
  • P4 1806 - Extreme negative settings in Change Tempo cause an "apparent" hang/freeze
  • P4 534 - Page Up/Page Down when slider focused also scrolls the project. looks OK on W10 but iffy on Mac
  • P4 1465 - Labels Editor: Does not remember modified size and position after OK


Devel Fix-Made

  • P4 192 - Import Raw/Spectrum Prefs/others hardcode 100 Hz - 100 kHz
  • P4 262 - Enh: Mixer Board: Track strip and border colours to match those in current TrackPanel


Parked - because I don't have the wherewithal to test these

  • P4 1354 - Undo item missing when importing MIDI (only) via list-of-files
  • P4 981 - Enabled Nyquist Workbench creates a redundant disabled effect in Register Effects.
  • P4 1776 - Side by Side errors


To be tested

  • P3 49 - RETEST: When changing language in Preferences, some elements in Unicode Release don't change until restart - I can't test on either platform as there is no language support built-in
  • P3 825 - Sync Lock behaves inconsistently when moving of clips is disabled
  • P3 1557 - Win/Linux: Shortcuts for select/deselect all do not work in Mixer Board
  • P4 553 - Zero crossings selection when short selections or white noise

] - Number-entering bug in kHz High Frequencies. Unfriendly to have to enter High first if new Low is above High.

The Bugs I have tested so far on Windows and that look to be good to go so far on W10 still to be tested on macOS and Linux

  • P3 1661 - Default audio track name not being translated - can't test on Mac as the nightlies have no foreign language support
  • P4 1745 - Names of commands in Chains do not translate, and the English uses ugly CamelCase - can't test on Mac as the nightlies have no foreign language support
