Bug testing workbench

Peter 18Jul16: This is a page to act as a workbench for my testing on W10 and macOS.
Some DEVEL FIXMADE bugs get "parked" by me as they involve downloading plug-ins from sites I know nothing about - I am not prepared to risk that.
See the Talk page for bugs resolved in earlier releases.
Re-opened
- P5 1799 - Un-muting with a single track unnecessarily activates the Solo button - original bug ok on Mac, BUT closely related issue still occurs
- P4 1806 - Extreme negative settings in Change Tempo cause an "apparent" hang/freeze
- P4 534 - Page Up/Page Down when slider focused also scrolls the project. looks OK on W10 but iffy on Mac
- P2 1763 - Clicks on starting/stopping playback. I get stop clicks with a sine tone

- P2 2101 - Mac recovery file can be corrupted before recovery when switching between 32 and 64 bit builds
- P4 2106 - Mac build for one architecture can't recover autosave files made by build for the other

- P3 1892 - Mac accessibility: VoiceOver does not read the categories in Preferences

- P3 1321 - Win/Mac: System output balance reset by launching Audacity - I have no idea how to test this
- P3 461 - MIDI or Allegro export filter does not enforce output format cross-platform - looks ok for me on w10, Step 1 OK on Mac but not Step 2
The Bugs I have tested so far on Windows and that look to be good to go so far on W10 - still to be tested on macOS and Linux
- P3 535 - Native Audacity formats won't import via FFmpeg/QuickTime (Mac) filter ignored until click OK on Preferences
