Audacity 2.1.2 replaces all previous versions.

Headline Features

  • Five P2s addressed.
  • Windows 10 properly supported (unless the issues are major and we run out of time).
  • wx3.0.2 properly supported.
    • Other small changes such as...
  • Classic Noise Removal available again as optional enabled built-in (A G+ conversation)
  • More compact and more flexible menu on tracks.
  • Colour-selectable Spectrogram (later will go when we have theming)
  • Harmonic separation effect.
  • Legacy Theming Support fixed. Possibly even with Theming panel in preferences again, via mod-theme.

So is the Code Release Ready?

This query shows us possibly problematic P1 and P2 bugs right now. If there is a P1 in there, the answer is 'NO'. The P2s need closer examination, and RM may decide that one or more of them block release, even at the last moment.
