2.4.2 Plan
James will RM a 2.4.2 'extra release', prior to us embarking on Unitary Project (aka 'UP').
The intent is to ensure we release within one month of the 2.4.1 release, i.e. on or before 22nd June.
This will be fixing some P2s we know about and have fixes for already, and the bug with label splitting. It will add 'easy config reset'. Upgrade to wx3.1.3 is very much intended but not 100% a given. This release will go through a translation cycle and include Czech, which was missed out in 2.4.1.

- Limit the scope tightly,

31st May. Making progress. 3xP1, 6xP2. Many new contribs from outside team being reviewed, accepted, rejected. We're behind schedule, and string freeze will probably be delayed.

Force CMake/Build to our wx3.1.3 to signal to maintainers of other distros the lethal wxWeakRef bug in wx3.0.x and potential other issues - i.e. use our wx3.1.3 or all bets are off. - 9th Jun - String freeze. Audacity.pot updated and sent to translators.

RM's list
- Patches to wxWidgets need to be better documented. What is each patch for? Need to be applied to our GitHub copy of wxWidgets too.
- Update workarounds for wxWidgets page, and track any reports back via wxWidgets Trac.
- Linux ASSERT Issues Not addressed yet to a safe level. We need code to guarantee we are building with patched wxWidgets under linux, I think.
- Pulse Audio issue leads to plan to keep sound card steams open.
- Build instructions on Wiki must be brought up to date.

The P2s need closer examination, and RM may decide that one or more of them block release, even at the last moment. The PXs (if any) might possibly be P1s - so we need to know about them.
