It would be most useful to be able to move the green scrubbing arrow manually as one can do in QuickTime. As others have said this would be in keeping with most other audio editing apps also. It would be fantastic if as the scrubber is moved one could hear the audio it is passing over. This would enable a user to pin-point exactly a particular sound or note.
