Gale 23 Nov 08, 07:12 UTC: Hi Carsten, this is the syntax for making a link with an image:
[<full URL of link><space><full URL OF image] - so:

[http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Special:Emailuser/Cumbrowski http://audacityteam.org/wiki/images/3/36/Nuvola_apps_email.png]

gives you:
Nuvola_apps_email.png

There is no way (I know of) to control the size of the image with this syntax.

Hi Gale, the links do not seem to be a problem anymore. That must have been something to do that either my account was too new or somebody changed the status of my user or something like that. My attempt to create a template still failed though, but not because of links, but the use of DIV html tags that trigger the spam filter. It appears that the use of DIV tags is prohibited throughout the Wiki. That's a setting in the Wiki configuration or the spam filter. I have not seen that CAPTCHA option before and thus not sure, if you are using a third party extension for this or if that is now part of the current version of the Mediawiki itself. It has been a while since I messed with the Mediawiki software itself :). --roy<sac> Talk! .oOo. 18:20, 26 November 2008 (PST)
