Group Policy Installation
Rick Bull has written a .VBS script that will automatically install Audacity via Group Policy to computers on a network. Group Policy is available on computers running Windows 2000 or later.
By default the script will only install Audacity if its installation folder is not already present in Program Files (or the directory of your choice). To force Audacity installation regardless of a previous installation, add " /f " (without quotes) to the "Script Parameters" text-box in the "Add a Script" dialog when creating the Group Policy Object.
The script will install Start Menu and desktop shortcuts for all users, if you so choose.
