The InlineCode Template is styled like Template:Code which is used for enclosing lines or blocks of programming code, mathematical formulas, regular expressions. However, it is intended for use inline in running text.

Usage of Template:InlineCode:

For example, typing this:

This is a code snippet {{InlineCode|$c: // (-%7)}} inside some text

will cause the following to be displayed:

This is a code snippet $c: // (-%7) inside some text.

Often you will want to use "1=" (without quotes) at the start of the template, for example if your snippet contains an = sign, like so:

This is a snippet that contains an equals sign {{InlineCode|1=$c = (%7) + (%4)}}

to get:

This is a snippet that contains an equals sign $c = (%7) + (%4)
